I wonder if Oscar has thought about the possibility of Canelo losing this fight. Will he try to negotiate a trilogy. Will GGG’s team accept that fight. I’m just saying, Oscars stable is available online for the public to see all of his boxers. He doesn’t have anyone even close to Canelo’s star power. So I’m sure Oscar is nervous about this fight too.

So I guess he'll be fighting winner of O'Sullivan/Lemieux.

            More De La Hype.
The Diva will be facing the last great effort GGG has in him and will come up short or stopped. G haters refuse to see that the Ginger Boy could not outclass an aging genuine Middleweight. This time around Golovkin will press the issue with more frequency and drain Canelo's swamp. The Khan, Smith, Chavez Jr trifecta left Saul unprepared for a Golovkin.

i think the opposite, i think he fights if he wins. if he doesn't he won't be back until next year.

When he loses he can start trying to drag more middleweights down to maybe 156, 157 or whatever and then claim he wasn't big enough for middleweight in the first place. Or more than likely he'll do that and drag 154 pounders up to fight him. Or just fight lemule osullivan winner. One of the two.

Well to be honest, Joshua is the only other active fighter who is closer to Canelo's star power but we are yet to see a PPV in USA to see "IF" he would even sell 500K PPVs.

                    Solid bet.

I'll be surprised if he actually does fight again this year. First off its very possible this is gonna be a hard fight & a 3mo turnaround isn't gonna be a reasonable time table for him to fight again.

Then there is the where is he gonna fight thing. Or is this a indication maybe Canelo has some agreement with HBO that just hasn't been announced or they have touched based with HBO now & HBO is looking to do something post-fight?

Yeah, if the GGG fight is a grueling war, I imagine December is a little too optimistic to expect him back in the ring again. The only reason I can see him fighting so soon is to try and maintain his fighting weight so he doesn't blow up too much in between fights. Now that he is fighting "al naturale" I think he'll need to be on a more aggressive training regiment in order to continue fighting at 160.
