if canelo can make weight without drugs he will be fine this time around. being lighter will help him. he looks fast. i'm sure the plan this time around will be to focus even more on using speed. it gave golovkin a lot of trouble last time, if you remember.

picking canelo by UD this time. thinking golovkin starts to look old in there, and canelo picks up where he left off with his speed. speed is absolute kryptonite to a 36 year old fighter with 300+ amateur fights and some real wear.

If Canelo was roided to the extent is claimed here and elsewhere, he should lose this fight easily. when you look at people like Lamont Peterson who had to ditch their programs, they never found their previous form. The Psych changes alone would make a big difference. If I had to to put money on it, I’d say Canelo was juicing, but I don’t have sufficient evidence, it’s more of a gut feel and so I’m prepared to wipe the slate clean and just look forward to a good contest. I think GGG got this one .

I agree with the clean playing field analogy. No matter who you're a fan of, you should be able to get on board with that. All of the name calling and petty sh *t on here is just people behind keyboards flexing their egos. Unremarkable and not mattering.

The real questions are, IF Canelo was actually taking PED’s, did it make a difference in the 1st fight? IF Canelo was taking PED’s and has been strictly tested for the rematch, and he comes into the rematch clean, will he be the same fighter? IF GGG really believes PED’s were in Canelo’s body that impacted his performance in the 1st fight; will he go after him for the knock out more aggressively in this fight? But the statement about seeing the needle marks and this statement below is so out of character with GGG, that you almost want to believe it.

"I don't believe it was beef," Golovkin said. "I don't believe his stories about contaminated meat. Experts in pharmaceuticals determined that it was doping not contaminated meat," he added through an interpreter.

only if his stamina is better. if not, it'll be a replay of the last fight with another controversial decision.
