Well theres plenty of World class Mexican fighters who dont fail drug tests. Canelo didnt fail one before in hes career, despite hes liking for Mexican beef.. How come he and hes team, who claim the beef is such a well known issue in Mexico, werent a little more careful knowing this? How come it coincided with the run up to him fighting hes toughest opponent, not at any other point of hes career? How come it coincides with him being at hes most muscular according to channels like Ego who monitor fighters physiques? Unless you're raising the cattle yourself you can't guarantee it's clean. A supplier you've used can change what he's using. Even in well regulated places like the UK they were selling ****ing horse meat and labeling it as different meat. There's no guarantee.

None of that changes the fact that Canelos camp claim that the possible contamination of Mexican beef is well known. Were supposed to believe that a professional camp, thats not new at this, that knows the risks and has a chef, a nutritionist, and a full knowledge of banned substances ingnored or overlooked this with millions of dollars on the line.Canelo tested positive for a drug that helps you cut fat while retaining muscle, something that is quite an advantage in the run up to a fight i think youd agree. Although you are right about horse meat in the UK (i live here) that was in processed foods, and its a simple as using a good butcher. I have a good one, just a local guy, and hes supplier is up there on the wall, name of the farm ect. Canelos camp are surely more careful than the likes of me what goes into hes mouth. These guys count macro's. You might not like it if you're a fan, but he's story is far fetched to say the least.
