  • Is golovkin still in his prime at 36?

What percentage of his best would you say he is at? Or is he still at 100 percent of his prime? Would u say he has slowed down?

Of course he has slowed down.
It's a natural progression at 36 to start slowing down.
GGG is not in his prime but he still has enough to mix it with the best at middle weight.

Edit- I dont know if progression is the right word but you guys know
    What I mean.

He has slowed down massively and I doubt he gets by Canelo. If he loses to Canelo, which I'm sure he will, what is left for him? He spends another 12 months on the comeback trail before getting near a title? He's too old bro, on his way out. Jermall Charlo or some unheralded young lion on the way up will take him out at that stage. They avoided Derevyanchenko for those reasons.

I never heard he was slow before but now people are saying he's slow so he's lost a bit of what he was.
But it's usually enough to beat his opponents as he's pretty strong in all areas

Nope he was much faster and more mobile when he was younger

Sometimes lack of speed, and other things that diminish with age, can be offset with experience and ring IQ.

It's hard to say but I think he has probably lost 5-10% of his ability to pressure and cut the ring off.

He still dominates the ring against every fighter in his weight class, will take a great boxer and someone extremely fit to beat him.

Don't worry though, it's not your fault you're from Australia

36 and only four world champions faced.

36 and a wasted his prime on bums, dudes on house arrest and welter weights.

                    36 and a waste of a career.
