    Shawn Porter-Danny Garcia was the most-watched of six boxing matches televised Saturday night on premium cable channels. Nielsen Media Research ratings released Tuesday revealed Showtime's main event between Porter and Garcia drew a peak audience of 690,000. An average of 619,000 viewers watched their entire 12-round, 147-pound title fight.

        Promoting? These promoters have no idea what the hell that means. Haven't seen any of these old m-fers promote anything in years.

        Have you seen a boxing "press conference"?

          As usual. Those numbers are not that reliable anymore. They dont include views through the showtime app.

          How many people are watching via the app? I dont have a clue, but you cant ignore that more and more people will start watching with the app, because it is cheaper than normal from what ive heard.

          What we do know is that showtime is commited to boxing and they wouldnt be if viewership numbers are actually that bad.

                Those are actually good numbers considering College Ball, UFC and HBO Boxing were on.

                Even when HBO has a not so good card their numbers would sometime eclipse a SHO card. I'm actually shocked HBO came up so short.

                  Facts !! The only one who really promotes is Eddie Hearn and Don King the most hated promoters.
