Wlad was much better technically than Wilder, even the older version who Fury fought

Wlad was also a slow plodder which Wilder isn't and Wilder has shown his chin to be better as well. The technically better fighter often loses to a brutal puncher (Rocky Marciano comes to mind and Wilder has the added plus of being much, much quicker).
