The shot that was more worrying wasn't the one putting Khan down, it was the right hand that clipped his chin and Khan's legs went funny. That wasn't even a big shot, Vargas was over reaching and Khan moving back and it still had a big effect.

Yeah i noticed he got rocked several times by arm punches, vargas was cheery picked for a reason he was a pressure fighter who wasnt a devastating puncher. But he was rocking khan anytime he landed a grazing shot

Khan has always had a suspect chin, even going down against nobodies before he was a champ so his chin might not be getting worse. It's just always been not great.
But Khan seemed to be talking well after fight which surprised me i heard people mention slurring before.

Chris Algeri was landing the very same shot i.e Overhand right on Khan and Khan was on his wobbly legs everytime he hit him with that.

He was only wobbled once in that fight

In this fight he wobbled no matter what punch Vargas landed, i counted 3 wobbles and that is not including the knock down

Canelo finished whatever was left of Khans punch resistance. He has taken a lot of punishment over the years, there are many vultures around Khan including Goosen.

He's a really talented guy but yea, that chin got real shaky. I think Khan missed a lot of big opportunities (many because certain guys avoided him) but that's how she goes. Can't say he wasn't responsible for most of it.

Fighting Canelo pretty much shortened his career overnight.

It is the same for Brook, fighting GGG shortened his career, but the difference is Khan already had many miles on the clock and was in a lot of tough fights and absorbed a lot of punishment

He often looks a little vunerable like Roy Jones or Wladimir, its nothing new and part of the reason hes so entertaining to watch with the biggest viewing figures ever on a sub channel, against essentially an unknown opponent in uk. Onwards and upwards!

I think it is very much worse. He was out cold for a long time when Canelo knocked him out and that might have made it worse. He was able to survive with Maidana who hit him much harder than Vargas did. Khan looked fat, soft and flabby for Vargas. How hard did he train? Is his heart in boxing or does he just want a big check or two before he retires?

Nelo.might have made it worse you could say. But Nel o hit Khan with more than Prescott did.
So Khan chin was already weak way back when fighting presscott.i
