    Quick Question

Maybe someone can clear this up for me, because I've always wondered this:

Say someone is scheduled to fight at Lightweight (135) but comes to the weigh-in weighing 129lbs (under the super feather limit.. the next lowest division)... are there any rules that say that fighter wouldn't be allowed to fight?

not that i know of, but if a fighter was to come in that light for a lightweight title he would be highly over trained and fighting at the wrong weight class

I believe that at that light of a weight there would only be allowed a 8 lb max difference between the fighters. That fight would roll contested as a lightweight bout.

So there is a max weight difference allowed between the fighters?

Because if there wasn't, THEORITICALLY a featherweight can fight in the HW division...
