Saul landed a really nice upper-cut that round, but 1/2 the round he was on his bike & GGG was tagging him throughout, even landing a couple upper-cuts of his own & an overhand right. They both missed quite a bit or were blocked.

    Canelo 1/18 jabs
    GGG 12/36 jabs

    Canelo 10/22 power
    GGG 9/30 power

Maybe you're thinking Saul landed more power that round, but you're totally discounting the jab work Gennady did, not to mention his own power that landed.

Your card is the same as mine except for the 1st & the 8th.

Now onto the controversy, all the judges gave Canelo rnd 11, you didn't. Add rnd 1 to that & it's 8-4 Golovkin. It's the Byrd card that causes some to claim a robbery because it's a totally ridiculous card no matter who scores it. I wouldn't put 8-4 scored a draw necessarily a robbery, but I still think it was a clear win, add to that Trella gave Canelo rnd 7 that neither of us or any other judge gave him...it looks like the deck was stacked against GGG.
I can respect the analysis. I just felt Canelo did better work. I can go back and rewatch, but I legitimately think Round 6 could also be argued for Canelo.

Yes GGG lands jabs, but Canelo defends very well and has cleaner work.

I think round 1, 3, 6, and 8 are the rounds people disagree on.

One could also argue Canelo won 7-5 if you give him 1, 3, 6, and 8 (in addition to 2, 10 and 12). And while giving Canelo all 4 of those rounds is hard to do...giving him any of those rounds individually is perfectly reasonable

Ggg won but nelo showed variety in defence and offense and did better than people expected

Tough to make an argument when the fighter himself says he lost the 6th & 8th though.
