Spence won’t get the Porter that fought Garcia. Garcia doesn’t have a lot of activity. He waits mostly to counter punch with his left hook and over hand right, that’s he swings wildly sometimes. And sometimes with his head down. Spence is more of an offensive fighter that likes to dictate punishment to the body and head. And he is always observing and looking straight ahead at the opponent. He comes forward all night and is willing to exchange to get his power shots off. But he can box a little too, he has a good solid amateur background and is technically and fundamentally sound. And he has a very solid chin.

The version of Porter I believe we will see against Spence is the one we saw in the first round against Garcia. He boxed more and I was kinda impressed. He is very athletic on his feet. He moved and didn’t really rush in that 1st round. He tried to score and used the ring beautifully in that 1st round. Once he got used to Danny and felt a little of his power, he became more active and threw more punches and took more chances and felt comfortable going inside to try to rough up Danny a little.

But I don’t see him throwing a lot of punches against Spence. I don’t see him trying to over power Spence. I don’t see him trying to bully Spence on the inside because that’s Spence’s fight. I see Porter trying to box against Spence, use his athleticism, and win a decision.

And Porter saw his own fight against Brook and then saw Spence destroy Brook. Porter knows and his dad knows Spence is a different animal. The crazy thing is Porter is athletic and tough enough to win a decision against Spence.

No Porter will never beat Spence. If Porter were that good of a boxer he would have beaten others that way. Spence will chop him down inside and outside.

You would have a better chance of Gal Gadot showing up to your house with a teddy on than Old Man Bob letting Crawford in the ring with Spence.

Man.......Bud will beat Spence’s ass. The fight will happen, and it won’t even be a fight. That drunk ass bubble eyed droopy face talk behind the fence ass is just talking because he knows that the fight isn’t happening next. lmao.

Good analysis but a leopard doesn't change its spots. Porter would revert to the same guy rushing in by Rd. 3 and smothering his own shots, and Spence will get leverage on left crosses and take him out. Mismatch fight from a styles perspective.

I agree that Bud has the boxing skills and IQ to beat Spence, but my POINT is that you must not know how Bob Arum works. Remember the phantom 50,000 stadium that was going to be built from ground zero when Manny and May were more in their primes? Yeah, not gonna happen anytime soon plus one is married to ESPN/HBO and the other to Showtime.

Wrong. Bud signed back with bob which is career suicide. Where are the best fighters at 147? NOT with bob. I like Bud but he's stuck like chuck.

It isn’t career suicide lmao. Top Rank pays him well.
