Hmmm Broner's listed as 5'6 & yea he definitely gots a few inches on Tank so that 5'5 1/2 number probably ain't right. Or Broner's number ain't right.
Although he don't look that much taller in this pic, but its not a great angle either.

Floyd's 5'8. Tank ain't looking THAT short next to Floyd.

Maybe Floyd was wearing his tall shoes doe here idk...or Tank had a growth spurt cuz this one is old obviously.

Every time the camera caught him the other night, he just looked (and acted) like Errol's pudgy little half-brother who needs to grow up.Hmmm Broner's listed as 5'6 & yea he definitely gots a few inches on Tank so that 5'5 1/2 number probably ain't right. Or Broner's number ain't right.

I still think he's got a ton of upside, but when these other young killers like Teofimo Lopez come calling with fast feet and long arms, we'll see what he's really got.Comment

I think his ignorance, lack of education & lifestyle will catch up with him long before his fat a55 is forced to move up a few classes where he certainly gets dusted by all the top fighters.
That ****** hood lifestyle mixed with lack of intelligence will get him in serious personal, financial & in ring trouble.Comment

135 is a great division and it looks like it will get better.
You have two of best five boxers in the world in Loma and Mikey. There are also some good contenders. Then you have prospects that claim to be ready in Teofimo Lopez and Devin Haney.
I want to see Tank and Berchelt move up. They shouldn't be wasting their time at 130, which isn't a great division.
I give Tank some trouble but the kid is good. The only guys I would favor over him are Loma and Mikey. We won't find out if they never fight though.Comment

At 135, I dont see Davis as being an easy opponent for anyone, Mikey and Lom included. He is fast, has great combinations in a solid assortment, angles, power, and closes off the ring well. No one is going to have an easy time with him. His reach is only 1/2 inch shorter than Mikey but a little longer than Lom. 140 might be pushing it but we'll see. Could do some things there too, perhaps. Height might be an issue at 140.Last edited by richardt; 09-10-2018, 04:59 PM.Comment

So what???? Boxers are supposed to fight in their natural weight class not a weight class that is way too heavy for them that they don't belong in. Tank is not stuck at 130-135.On the contrary that is his best fighting weight and that is exactly where he should fight. The only good reason for a boxer to move up in weight is if he outgrows the weight class he is in. To fight above your best weight just to brag about it is a big mistake. Look what happened to good fighters Donaire and Gonzales when they moved up one weight class too many. If Tank can stay at either 130 or 135 and beat the best at that weight he can build a great record for himself. If he is not good enough to do that then he would get beat much worse fighting in a heavier weight class he doesn't belong in.Comment
