i made a thread before hand saying people overrated garcia before the thurman fight and they were overrating him again before the porter fight. know everyone gets things wrong but i dont understand why people seemed to think garcia was gonna time him jumping in and knock him out

My biggest problem with Garcia is that he only has one gear. He's very talented, but when it's time to kick up a notch he refuses (or he just doesn't have it)

He landed a big one early and then a few after that. Porter started throwing the jab and then the left right to the head and body and that kept Danny off balance all night. Danny had good success early, but Porter quickly lost respect for the right hand and just guarded against the left hook. That’s how Porter got back into the fight and eventually took the lead.
