They both lost to Ggg and nelo respectively.
Maybe Khan should take it next then he can do whatever he wants afterwards.
But I'm not sure why khan couldn't avoid that punch that vargas put him down with? I'm sure Khan been down by same shot before. And I don't see why brook can't land it?

It's clear that Khan heavily prefers the Pacquiao fight, and honestly that's the one I'd rather see as well. That one is a close to 50/50 fight, whereas Brook / Khan is like a 70/30 matchup for Brook imo. Obviously I want to see both but if one has to be sacrificed for the other to happen then I'll reluctantly accept Brook / Khan not happening.
