Comments Thread For: Hearn: Khan vs. Brook Must Be Next - Or It Will Never Happen!

Amir Khan produced his blistering hand speed once more as he set up a potential pre-Christmas super-fight. The Bolton welterweight, a former unified super-lightweight world champion, was back in action at the Arena Birmingham, exclusively live on Sky Sports. Khan, who returned from a 23-month hiatus back in April with a scintillating 39-second bombing out of Canadian Phil Lo Greco at the ECHO Arena in Liverpool, took out Samuel Vargas in similar fashion.

NoelAnthony, where are you? I have a question my brother! Which fight sells more in the UK, Khan vs. Pacquiao, or Khan vs. Brook?

      Khan cünt dodging
Fatboy should cut a deal to offer Pac a mega fight. Use that as the carrot for this fight. Winner of Brook vs Khan get Pacquiao

Both do similar numbers in uk
Khan has the asian fanbase but i dont think he holds the credibility with them that he once did. Biggest fight in the uk between the 3 is the winnners face pac...would do big numbers on the bounce

Brook sleeps khan and I can't wait to see it. If khan finally man's up enough to take the fight.

I think it still could happen if it didn't happen next. Khan Pacquiao then Khan Brook. What they don't understand is if Khan fights Brook first and loses, Pacquiao is less likely to fight him. If Khan fights Pacquiao first and loses, Brook will still fight him and want the fight. It's simple really. Khan will chase Pacquiao and Brook will chase Khan. That's just how it is.

cant see it happening. i just dont think khans ego could handle losing to brook. khan has always patronised and condescended him as if he is an a different level, especially a few years ago.

                  Thats a team khan/asian mentality
If Khan isnt confident to beat brook now he will never fight him.
Hearn is **** on the money with this statement.
If its not next it never happens.
Khan could beat brook with his boxing & speed. Brook will be battle worn, weight drained & susceptible to damage from khans fast hands.
                  Khan still isnt confident.
Khan isnt a name, not like he thinks...last nights show proves that. If he fights & beats brook he'll gain momentum & pac fight will be bigger with more chance for khan to win that fight.
Brook is more than capable of ironing khan but he'll be weight drained. If he can beat khan after the fights he's been in he'll deserve the fight with Pac & build an event

Kahn has to choose between getting KTFO by a legend or by his domestic rival.
