People like you are haters of the sport. You have no respect for weight divisions? You have no respect for the ambitions of a fighter who wants to be undisputed champion in the toughest division in boxing? Him putting his life on the line against champions is not good enough for You? You want him to risk his life against eveb bigger buys? When is the last time you put your life on the line to please a hater of the sport?

This is the kind of fight Spence needs, a unification fight against another big name in the division. His level of opposition since Brook has been wanting but this should tick all the boxes. Like I've said in other threads, Spence will be a pretty big favourite but Porter is still a live dog in the fight. The winner probably has the right to say they're the top guy in the division.

I just hope this puts paid to talk of Spence fighting Garcia. I'd much rather guys fight the other top guys in their division before going division hopping looking for physically mis-matched meme fights.

There's no point in calling out Crawford.

Arum said he won't make that fight until it can sell more than 500,000 on PPV. He's going to feed Top Rank/WBO bums to Crawford until then.

I really can’t blame Arum for letting it marinating the fight just a little bit.
Let both fighter have one or two more before they fight each other.
I’ll be looking for it end of 2019 or early 2020 though.

Spence should be calling out Crawford as they are the only elite fighters in the division. Thurman is a runner who won't engage. Porter is competitive but limited.

The unification is not a waste of time! Porter has better wins @ 147 than Bud! However, if Errol has a chance to fight Canelo on Cinco de Mayo 2019, he MUST accept the challenge, even @ 160:

Well, it would be up to Canelo and his promoters at Golden Boy if they’d be interested in making a fight against the 27-year-old Spence.

“But you have to come and talk to us because we would know how to stage that type of event. We would really make that a super event with Canelo and Spence but obviously first thing is first. Spence has his plans and Canelo has — we have our plans so we’ll see what happens in the future but I’m hoping I get that knock at the door from Spence, that one day he wants to be involved in a major pay-per-view.”

Spence said he would never fight on ESPN and that he is A-side so Crawford needs to come to his side of the street instead of being on the "wrong side of the street" as he is now. Spence also trashed Bob for "smoke and mirrors" for putting Crawford in with lackluster competition.

That’s just Spence being thirsty for a big name on his resume. Right now he feeels like all these guys are running because he hasn’t been able to get them in the ring. He needs to blame Harmon because they all got the same management. Besides Crawford just moved up and it wouldn’t be smart for him to fight the most dangerous guy at a higher weight yet. Spence needs to fight whomever he can get in front of him and stop waiting around. Eventually the big names won’t be able to run if he keeps getting knockouts.
