Don't know if judges take it into consideration but Garcia was clearly frustrated and complaining after round 7 , imo the sign of a fighter who isn't in control of the action. Good fight, close but I think the judges got it right

Just throw more punches, Danny. Simple. Had you just done that, you'd have won a close fight. I realize it's tough to fight a wacko whirlwind idiot fighter like Porter, but you sometimes have to just go into beast mode. More punches could have conceivably taken Porter out or at least dropped him a time or two. I hope like he!! Danny is READING these comment sections.

Problem with DSG he doesnt let his hands go as often as Porter. He usually loads it up aiming for a power shot that wont probably land.

A KO between top welterweights is less likely to happen so really have to convince judges by throwing more, looking more dominant.

He beat LP, LP started too late in the fight.

Close fight, the decission could have gone either way but I'm glad Porter won because he ain't no cherrypicker like Garcia

That's not true, at all.

Garcia should do more on his activity in fights. If he can`t stop the opponent, he is in trouble and he lost both his major fights in last years by decision.

A few things Danny could of done....

1. Throw a just little bit more punches
2. Upper cuts
3. Punches through the middle, especially the right hand
4. Every time porter came in he could of locked him up right away or use the punches I mentioned down the middle

It was a close fight, as it usually is with this level of fighters. I felt that Porter won but it wasn’t a dominant win by any means. I think Garcia should fight Crawford, and Porter should fight Spence, then the winners should face each other. While that’s going on, Thurman should fight a couple times to be ready to fight one of the winners of those fights.

You think bob would do it though? bob is the main hurdle to get passed to make these fights & Bud just signed a 3 yr. deal.
