Pissed set my alarm but only watched it from the 6th round. I’m super impressed with Garcia. I never gave him any credit for anything. Thought he had the slowest feet in the game . Throws his hooks with his eyes closed . Slow hands, basically a bog average cherrypicker with green eyes. That couldn’t be further from the truth in this fight. A stand corrected. A solid strong fighter. The 6 rounds I watched was nip and tuck so can’t comment on the result. Fantastic action.

Because it’s a twelve round fight. Most of Garcia’s work happened in the same round. If he was active every round he wins easy. Still think it was close but no outrage to say Porter won.

If I was Garcia I would have or will fire his pops@!!. He cost Garcia that fight as much as Oscar Del Hoya vs Tito. Angel acted like they had the fight in the bag just like Oscar's before he had to fire his whole corner and above.

Porters restlessness won him this match. Porter just kept comimg at Danny.

Danny controlled the first 4 rounds amd while he didn't win every round after Shawn controlled from 5 on.

Broke his heart too he looked embarrassed. Didn’t even give him the option to say “ f#uck that no” just put it round his neck. Not even a bit of bling on it so at least it looked Glamorous. Shame on them

I watched the fight by myself and without the Showtime commentary, and I scored it 8-4 for Danny, but thought I could also see 7-5 as a possibility. But this is boxing, so literally any scorecard is possible. I have no preference at all between these two fighters, I just felt that Danny was more accurate and effective. There isn't a more frustrating sport in the world.
