It all came down to work rate. I had it even, but leaning to a porter win from work rate. Danny has none to blame 'cause he kept looking for that one shot rather than finishing the exchanges. Neither really impressive though, same 'ole story.

Good fight, I thought DG was going to win, but I'm good with the decision. No one have decisively beating DG. So he is still the one to beat.

It was a good win for Porter and capturing the title that became vacant from Keith, “break time” Thurman. I borrowed that nick name from someone on here. But like the respected boxing expert Dan Rafael from ESPN, I had the fight a draw. But I can see how the judges would rule for Porter, he was very busy, the more active fighter, not necessarily the more accurate puncher. And Porter surprised me in this fight. He wasn’t as wild as he was in previous fights.

With that being said, I don’t think he can beat Spence. His body and head shots are too vicious and he can be just as rough and agressive on the inside. But if Porters body and chin can hold up against Spence & he comes in with the same game plan to be the busier fighter, I can see him swaying the judges against Spence too. He has the heart.

Hayman probably hedging on Spence having an easier time with Porter than Garcia,

I thought Danny landed the cleaner punches but I stopped scoring after the 9th rd, I had Shawn up by 1 at that point

that 116 112 card was kinda wide

I don't see how anyone can give this fight to porter. Just because he was busy. He didn't land shlt. Garcia beat him as easy as Kell brook did.

Porter would've won clearly if Danny wasn't allowed to hug all night and pay no points, hell I think Willis letting them work in the clinch is already what sealed the deal for Shawn.
