Jermell weighed 168 on fight night for the Trout fight. Hurd weighed 168 on fight night for the Lara fight. Hurd has no weight advantage over Jermell. Hurd may look much heavier but they will weigh about the same in the ring when and if they fight each other. I pick Hurd to win not because he is bigger but because I think he is a slightly better fighter.

Looking at that pic it's hard to believe Hurd can make 154. Both of them will probably move up to 160 at some point next year.

They could be 130 pounders standing there in that pic and there is no reference to size or weight at all, it always amazes me how some comments refer to size or weight when a pic like says nothing about either.

God it's un-real to think Hurd gets down to 154 that jyst blows my mind.
He looks more like a light heavy.
He must train really hard and virtually starve himself to make weight, but he always comes into the fight with strength and stamina.
He must be a cyborg.

Relative size is tough to gauge off of just a photo, but there are general truisms to look at.

-Once a fighter is fight fit (worked off the bloat, gotten the cardio back, on the clean diet, etc), there's basically another 15lbs or so that can be boiled off in water weight.

Someday lol... I meant when it happens obviously. They're already talking quite a bit so I'm foreseeing the fight happening by end of spring 2019.
