Comments Thread For: Jono Carroll Inks Promotional Pact With Eddie Hearn

Irish star Jono Carroll has signed a promotional deal with Matchroom Boxing. The unbeaten Super-Featherweight talent turned in arguably the performance of his career in June when he halted Declan Geraghty over nine brutal rounds in Belfast to retain his IBF Intercontinental title.

The setup is clearing up now...

Tevin Farmer has likely signed for 2-3 fights with Matchroom Sport USA, and Eddie Hearn will be backing each of the opponents that Farmer will face.

Farmer gets through the gauntlet with the money bag and his IBF belt, and he's then likely headed to Showtime to have the fight with Gervonta Davis.

Once Eddie Hearn gets these two fights through (likely with Eddie finding a way to try and get Scott Quigg a shot too), the well runs dry.

He's not getting Berchelt, he's not getting Davis, and he's unlikely to get Machado either.

                Think what you want

Why not Berchelt? Zanfer gave Berchelt/Roman to the highest bidder. Dont think theyd completely disregard an offer from Hearn.

What's Machado's deal? Fighting on Hearn's Jacobs/Derevyanchenko card after 2 fights on GB cards before that. He'd make sense as a signing if he's a FA
