I think we might be seeing a Liakahovic v.s. Briggs match, seeing as how Briggs is ranked #2 by the WBO contender somehow.

IMO Briggs, despite his dismal opponents, is the most exciting heavyweight contender in the game right now. Although his level of opposition is considered low at best, he's been more active and his knockouts have been pretty sensational. Another thing he has going for him is that he's charismatic and likeable.Comment

Has everyone forgotten about how Tua backed out of a Briggs fight that was set for Showtime in April (the free preview boxing showcase replaced by Brewster/Lyakhovich)?
Tua better hurry up and KO some fringe contenders if he wants credibility back...Comment

im a fan of tua, saw the tua-ibeabuchi fight, and had it tied no matter how many times i rewatched it. imo if tua is gonna make a comeback why briggs. i dont see tua winning this on a ko or point situation. hate to put my boy down but thats how good briggs is. knowing tua, there will be a fight out of it, unlike that yawn of a fight brock had.
