Spence is really running out of time then. He's almost 30 years old. Keith Thurman beat Porter and Danny and that didn't make him a superstar so I don't know why the same wouldn't be true for Spence.

I think Spence has a solid chance. Spence has the skills & the personality to be a mainstream star, but he's gonna need to be put in people's faces on a regular basis & in fights that people care about.

Bud is gonna have to depend on Bob making deals with others which isn't something Bob shines in or yearns to do so I think he's never reaching his max level of popularity outside of Nebraska.

Thurman seems to be on some whole other sh^t these days & I got lil faith he re-gains momentum at this point. He's not really re-gained the momentum he had as a contender after he won his belt & things have just trended downward with activity despite a sexy resume. Having a sexy resume, but not being active is probably break even or neck & neck with having a decent resume, but being active.

Spence has zero personality. He's almost as boring as Crawford. And I don't see how a win over Porter or Garcia would make him a star or take him to the next level. Thurman on the other hand does have an interesting personality but who knows what will happen with him going forward.

          No.

          Stars are born, not made.

Keith had the potential but his demeanor both in the ring and out of it completely changed once he got paid.

I think Spence doesn't speak enough to show his personality if anything, but he's a humble, respectable cat is what I'm saying. Lotsa people still like that. Or at least they don't look down upon it.

But yea I wouldn't argue with you there is a lack of charisma in boxing in general these days, but yea at 147 Keith is the charisma champion by a mile.

Both Spence and Crawford are class acts outside the ring definitely. They both carry themselves real well. If people want wwe type **** they aren't going to get it from those two.

Thurman, yes. Very charismatic, can talk, has knockout power.

Crawford, yes, especially in his home region of Oklahoma.

Spence...he has Danny Garcia's issue, that hes not a talker, and he doesn't seem comfortable on the mic. He's the kind of fighter that will sell based on who the OPPONENT is.
