I'm confident in my assessment, it will be similar to Rungvisai/Gonzalez 2. If I'm way off base, bump this post and I'll eat the crow, but I feel very good about how this one will play out.

I agree. I didn't see anything in that fight that tells me that Kovalev is shot, he just got caught with a perfect punch, thats all. If Alvarez can't replicate that in the rematch I think Kovalev will win.

Khan was clearly winning vs Canelo.

I had it 4-2 Kovalev. he seemed to have nothing on his shots in round 7, also alvarez is a second half fighter. TVA sports said they have not spoke to anyone about a rematch yet, and TVA sports reports that the rematch has not officially been exercised. Also Alvarez stated he thinks he'll be fighting Bivol, so nothing seems to be clear.

This rematch shouldn't happen anytime soon but still props to Kovalev for having more balls than Stevenson to even fight him. Something Stevensons been avoiding for over 2 years. Stevenson has gotta be one of the worst champs in history and most protected.
