Why? Depends on how much boxing you want to watch and the type of fights you want to watch. DAZN and ESPN+ will still be airing quality fights from around the world and DAZN in particular will have the WBSS. Heck, ESPN+ will occasionally put on Crawford or Pacquiao or Lomachenko on their app. Now, if you aren't that big of a hardcore and don't care much for overseas fights? Then sure, no need to buy those two apps.

There has been plenty of quality for the PBC the last two year. In fact, overall they have put on the best stuff from anyone during that stretch. All this does it keep guys more active. No reason why you shouldn't be getting the same type of quality. The biggest problem was guys only fighting once a year or some only twice when they should be getting three fights in.

I want to watch the fights but I just don't know if it's worth the money.

ESPN has so many platforms that I find the app to be ridiculous. Now DAZN makes more sense, but I don't like MMA so it's hard for me to justify the expense even though I can afford it.

Besides, it takes away from going out to the bar to watch the fights with other boxing fans, which is something I enjoyed.

I mean as for going out to the bars with other boxing fans for boxing? Sure, doubt they put on ESPN+ or DAZN, but they may look into doing so with everything headed towards digital. Wouldn't be hard for bars to set up a firestick or something and put on fights on ESPN+.

Now, if it is worth the money? That's a personal call. Fully understand if you don't to pay additional $15 bucks for fights on those two apps. But there will be quality fights around the world available on those two apps and that is why I will purchasing both of them (already have ESPN+).

Most bars can't get the app. The 15 isn't the issue. I have a firestick as well. it's more about atmosphere for me. Sometimes i just don't want to stay at home you know.

Why wouldn't bars be able to get the app though? Is there some sort of agreement preventing that from happening? If not, they surely can get access to the app.

But does that mean you don't have SHO either since you like watching fights at bars or with others? Or do you have SHO but go out for only some of the fights?

I don't know-I just know I've been to a Hooters and some local bars and they couldn't get the app. I'm sure the charges are different as well.

No I have SHo and HBO. Some bars have Showtime and HBO.

I see, bars do have totally different type of charges than us, so wasn't sure if there was a particular reason for that.

Then you should still be good with SHO/Reg ESPN/HBO for your boxing. Plenty of material to watch.

The problem DAZN has is that many American households already have HBO and Showtime. They have it with their cable or satellite package. Even unplugging, you can get both for around the same as DAZN, so if you are a boxing fan, you going to pay $10 a month for DAZN with a stable of mostly unknown fighters (in the US)? Or, are you going to get a free FoxSports app and pay $11 for Showtime and it's stable of hundreds of fighters, many of which you have heard of?

DAZN has it's work cut out for it in the US. It doesn't look good right now...
