    Resume has became so much about the name of a fighter these days and not the situation/circumstances etc;
    Exactly. Crawford is just an exceptional talent and if you can't see that I don't know what to tell you. He makes good fighters look bad and dominates them.

      Yeah some are blind to the cherry picking by Top Rank. Anyone else would get rightfully **** on for such a terrible fight. I have no clue why Crawford gets a pass to keep fighting bums.

        Look at the last two guys Spence fought. Bum city. Weight drained Brook is his only good win.

          I'm not crazy about this fight but Crawford has more than proven himself. Time will tell if he doesn't fight one of the top WW's but for now I give him a pass. On the other hand, Benavidez challenged him in a very public way. He couldn't let that slide.

              Inactive, not highly ranked, and recently shot... are those good circumstances to fight an opponent if you are supposedly a top p4p fighter? Circumstances doe.

                A bit of a crap fight imo but I can understand the reasons behind that.

                Hopefully Thurman comes back soon, Garcia and Porter give us a clear winner (no rematch) and we might see Spence and/or Crawford in a decent fight.

                I'm not a fan of Crawfords resume at all, he needs some big fights at WW culminating in him vs Spence for the No.1 spot.

                Crawford is obviously an elite talent and this is clearly a stay busy fight but he needs bigger better fights after this, even Khan would be a step up from this guy.

                  In contrast, anything PBC/Showtime related gets slandered and plagued by negativity for some reason, especially the fighters themselves.

                  I'm simply wondering, why is this? What is so much more likable by Arum and Top Rank? I've always thought his quality of fights and cards are undoubtedly worse, personally.
                  When pbc first came to be, many posters were claiming that pbc was going to save boxing and change it in ways that had never been done before.

                  That has not happened considering boxing has never needed to be saved and the only thing they changed was the corny entrances and some fighters getting in the ring less. Other than that, pbc has been like any other company. They have put out some garbage fights and good to great fights.

Rigondeaux looked like a million dollars and was a top 5 fixture in the p4p list until he actually had to prove it against loma. Different scenarios but people place WAY too much emphasis on how good fighters look beating scrubs.
                    People here act like he never existed now. For years people wanted to see him fight top competition. Some were satisfied with the Donaire win. When he stepped up again, he quit. You could not pay anyone to admit they were high on Rigo now.
