Why am I paying for ESPN + if so many fights are just going to go straight back to regular ESPN? I don't mind fights being on regular ESPN, but they should also be on the ESPN + app at least.

Good grudge match. I think Bud wins this one easily though. Hopefully he can get some PBC fighters to the negotiating table in 2019, otherwise his career will stall fighting no-hopers.Comment

Its weird when a fight with a undefeated guy with promise feels like a cashout fight, but I think that shooting incident with Benavidez f#cked him up physically or maybe mentally idk & this is his bon voyage to high level boxing type fight. If he fights after it idk, but I feel like this will be his last fight of real importance & its a money grab for him & his team.
Thought super highly of Benavidez as an amateur & up & coming pro. I legit said I thought Benavidez vs Frankie Gomez would be a huge PPV fight one day before either turned pro iirc in a bold ass prediction which sounds hilarious to me now. I don't think I've said anything that sh^t the bed quite like that prediction cuz both those guys have under performed expectations to a sinful level.
I think Bud is gonna destroy Benavidez. Stop him in the middle rounds probably.Comment

A pattern I seem to notice on these forums - it seems the posters on here are always content with the fights they get from Arum and Top Rank. I see mostly positive comments for even average at best fights and even fighters.
In contrast, anything PBC/Showtime related gets slandered and plagued by negativity for some reason, especially the fighters themselves.
I'm simply wondering, why is this? What is so much more likable by Arum and Top Rank? I've always thought his quality of fights and cards are undoubtedly worse, personally.Comment

What else is available? It's a grudge match, Benavidez is a talented fighter and undefeated in addition to which Spence obviously isn't happening anytime soon, Thurman is on milk cartons, Garcia-Porter is happening in two days, Mikey Garcia who talks about fighting everyone hasn't even mentioned Bud, Pacquaio won't fight him. I'm confused as to why the backlash on this particular fight?
I get there's double-standards and every fighter is criticized but much like Lomachenko-Pedraza it's difficult to be that critical of this particular match given the circumstances. Just try and enjoy the fights. After all isn't that what we want?Comment
