Canelo just has faster feet and better footwork.

Besides, Canelo has always backed up in his fights, at least for the first few rounds. He even backed up against Floyd.

That goes to show you, who is conceding, who lost the fight. I don't see any excuses from team Canelo, and more importantly I don't see Canelo begging Great Great Grampa to stop using the jab because is unfair.

I remember Great Great Grampa running from the very limited Lemeaux, yet to some idiots here they swear that was technique and finesse, yet when is done to GGG is not fair that's running.

This is so old! If your guy can box, then he should be ready for any style, not just "Mexican Style!"

"Mexican style"? What is that exactly? Sal Sanchez, Bobby Chacon, Oscar DH ... were all boxers. Even JCC Sr. had movement in the ring and just didn't come in face-first. He boxed.

I wish someone would show me the fighter who best personified the Mexican style. He probably didn't last long in the fight game and is probably punch drunk.

Ggg and his team are lame, prior to the first fight they stated that they knew they had to win by ko... After the fight "canelo ran". Ggg fans are lame too, prior to the fight y'all said ggg was the best at cutting off the ring and canelo had cement feet, after the fight "canelo ran" lmao like you can't make this up. Now team ggg and his fans are begging canelo to stand and go toe to toe. This is Canelo s second fight ever at 160 and ggg's 400 more or less fight at 160... Why would canelo go toe to toe? Even if it were even steven, why go toe to toe when you know you can outbox him easily?

It doesn't matter if GGG does a better job of cutting the ring off. Even when he did catch Canelo on the ropes, Canelo out boxed him, and got the better of the exchanges.

GGGs shots were looping, and telegraphed, and ginger slipped most of them. Gingers shots were tight and accurate.

To GGGs defence, ginger looked juiced, and GGG looked like shyt.

I think that it's possible, that GGG had a bad night, because he looked nervous and out of his game, even before the fight started.

I greatly dislike the prima Donna ginger, but I think he won the first fight.

Get over it, Canelo is not coming to fight...case closed. The plan is to stick and move in a boring, yawn filled, dead pan, dull fight. Canelo by UD then fight a showcase KO in the next fight, it's the formula and that's the long term plan.

Canelo may come out in round one or two showing hand speed but that's the show, not the plan.
