    Floyd Mayweather Jr. versus Bernard Hopkins now.

    Who would win, if they fought now?

    Before you call me crazy, have a look at this:

    Chris Byrd is 6'1'' at 210 lbs.
    Wladimir Klitschko is 6'6'' at 245 lbs.
    The difference is 5 inches and 35 lbs.

    Floyd Mayweather is 5'8'' at 147 lbs.
    Bernard Hopkins is 6'1'' at 175 lbs.
    The difference is 5 inches and 28 lbs.

    Byrd is a warrior and always has been!

      The size and weight is a much bigger factor at the lower weight classes than at heavyweight. A simple 5-6 pounds in the lower weights is enough to make or break a fight. You saw what happened in Corrales-Castillo 2. Hopkins would KILL Mayweather, plain and simple.

          Worst thread of all time.
          Hopkins is a light heavyweight, and Floyd is a welterweight.
          Floyd walks around anywhere from 147-150 pounds.

                      Guys, I am sorry for the missunderstanding. I wasn't trying to say that Mayweather had a chance against Hopkins. Actually I was trying to point out in what kind of a situation Chris Byrd was against a guy who was WAY bigger than him.

                      BPP, you have a valid point. But the difference, even at heavyweight, is still immense.
