Golovkin laughs at Chepo's status calls him "Low Upbringing, Low Intelligence Chepo"

In the recent conference call. Golovkin went off on Chepo Reynoso, laughing at his status and poor upbringing.

Gennady Golovkin speaks to the media at a public workout on Aug. 26 at the Banc of California Stadium on Aug. 26 in Los Angeles as he prepares for his Sept. 15 rematch for the middleweight title with Canelo Alvarez. For much of his career as boxing’s middleweight champion, Gennady Golovkin had little to say about his opponents. Golovkin will defend his WBA-WBC middleweight belts against Alvarez, his now-bitter rival, on Sept. 15 at T-Mobile Arena in a hotly anticipated rematch.

“What I want to say is I don’t want to go so low at the level of statements like that. It just shows a lack of class. It shows low class. It just shows a lack of upbringing, lack of intelligence. It just shows, again, how they behave themselves. I’m never able to say anything so low about anybody. So I just don’t want to comment about this anymore.”

I gotta say I like this savage version of Golovkin.

His goal is to send Chepo back to the butcher shop and remind him where he belongs.

Everyone says he's a lot more savage when he speaks in his language. I cannot say for sure because i don't speak the lingo but he seems to be doing less English interviews recently and using a translator.

Maybe that's why he's sounding more savage because he's being natural.

I kind of get it though. I speak some very basic Hebrew and come across much different than my real personality because i can't really express myself and most things i've learned are geared towards being friendly and polite as they are when you're learning a language.

I'd much rather Golovkin speak in Russian and then have a translator. You can tell that there's things that Golovkin wants to say but he can't in English.

I remember years ago reading a translated interview with G where he tore Ward to shreds, so you may be onto something.

I like GGG. He shows respect to everyone and doesn't talk trash unless he has a god reason to talk thrash.
