I'm curious surely a powerpuncher like ggg would benefit from wearing them? Would help push the mexican theme he's had going on.

Could be a number of things - I think someone said he has a deal with grant, so he could now be tied into using them, but it can also just be down to personal preference, some glove brands can feel more compact and I know some people who prefer gloves like that

Thats fair enough I suppose. Yeah I get that too about the compact gloves.

Ggg does wear the grant "punchers/made in mx" gloves though. So he kinda does wear a punchers glove.

a 10 ounce glove is still very small though, even a winning , for top pros, it's a slight difference. Even an everlast professional glove just moulds to the fist though.

Grants are supposed to be excellent also for catching , I nerver tried one though

There is no doubt GGG is a power puncher. There is plenty of doubt that he would punch any harder wearing 10 ounce Reyes gloves than he would punch wearing 10 ounce Grant gloves. Just because some call Reyes gloves the puncher's gloves doesn't mean there is any truth to it. If Reyes gloves actually factually increase a boxer's punching power than ALL boxers would wear them and not just punchers. Even a light punching boxer is going to benefit from an increase in punching power.
