Comments Thread For: Jeff Horn Confident: I Should Beat Anthony Mundine Easily!

Jeff Horn (18-1-1, 12 KOs) is very confident of notching a victory in a potential showdown with Australian rival Anthony Mundine. The battle of former world champions is being pegged for November 23 or November 30 at the Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane, Australia - the same venue that saw 51,000 pack the house in July 2017 when Horn shocked the boxing world by pulling off an upset decision over Manny Pacquiao.

I live in Australia and the only way I knew this fight was happening is thru boxing scene.
Horn needs this win, maybe the step up in weight will help him.

If Horn can recover from the beating he got by Crawford he should win this easy.

Exactly, outside of Australia nobody cares about this fight. Last big payday for both fighters. The ship has already sailed for them.

Horn only just lost his first fight to Bud and beat Manny last year how has the ship sailed? He is still a top 10 welterweight with a bright future, surely all Americans aren't that naive?

Horn did not beat Manny; Horn was gifted a decision, and that was all. Despite Horn's use of dirty and illegal tactics against Manny, it was Horn who took the beating; just look at Horn's condition at the end of the fight. As for the scoring of the fight, just check CompuBox to see how badly Horn was out-punched by Manny, and then try saying that the decision was anything but a corrupt "Hometown" decision. Furthermore, it was Horn's dirty/illegal techniques which resulted in his losing any support from the vast majority of boxing fans world wide.

I give zero f#cks about this fight, but I suppose it is big in Aussieland cuz they are two of the bigger names in recent boxing history. So I guess fair play to both guys in cashing in a lil bit here. Nothing wrong with that when the public is into it.

But personally not really into Horn & never THAT impressed with him, but I dig his story of being a teacher & "making it" in boxing & all that. Those are always good stories I like to see & hear about. And not really into Mundine in a long ass time so yea this fight might be the Foreman vs Holmes of Aussieland, but if you aren't in Aussieland you probably ain't feeling it.
