FOX and PBC Finalize Multi-Year Deal

PBC and Fox have finalized a long-term deal for fights to appear on both Fox and FS1 with an annual boxing budget that eclipses $50 million, multiple sources told The Ring. The deal, which will be announced Tuesday, will kick off in December; the agreement calls for 10 championship-level fights on Fox, with at least another 12 shows on FS1. That’s to be added to Showtime’s existing budget, estimated at over $50 million.
“Between Showtime and Fox, PBC will have a bigger pool of budget money than any other promoter in boxing, including Eddie Hearn with DAZN,” an industry source who was not authorized to speak publicly told The Ring.

The link is in the tweet. So looks like Haymon will have over $100 million in the budget for the PBC.

When it says 10 championship level fights, are we talking 10 cards or just 10 championship caliber fights total? If 10 cards, that is GREAT. Then the PBC will have close to 30 high level budget cards and then 12 FS1 cards.

      Good to hear.

More network fights are definitely good for the sport.

I just hope that the "championship-level fights" are actually good competitive bouts featuring top level guys, and not just a belt holder beating up some TBA opponent.

You should get exactly what you have been getting on SHO. The budget is actually around the same. Combine SHO+FOX, it either eclipses DAZN or at the very least is right up there with them. The best part of this is in the increased number of high level cards. Activity will rise and in the article it stated the first FOX card will be in December, maybe we get LSC vs GRJ? Hell of a way to start this partnership after the new deal.

Awesome! The only bad thing is overpaying the broners, bertos, victor ortiz kinda guys takes up the majority of that cash haha. Great news is that most these guys only fight once a yr lol. I hope it turns out for the best. Just for my own personal interests. And i hope for truly big fights. I been excited over this talk before, just to lose interest because of mismatches and inactivity of guys i wanna watch. And rematches like LSC and mares that almost nobody wanted to see. Stop all that dumb crap and get new and even better fans, although the weirdos and racist and the fanboys and haters do a tremendous job running off any potential new fans. Its gonna be hard
