Can GGG defeat Nelo with the JAB alone?

I think GGG can beat Nelo with the jab alone but this is not the type of fight GGG wants to show to boxing fans. GGG wants "Mexican style" toe-to-toe all out war throwing a lot of combinations.

If Nelo again refuses to engage in a war, GGG can just let Nelo eat jabs all night and defeat him. Nelo has no answer to GGG's potent jabs...

Possibly. I think this fight is about how Canelo performs. At his best, I think he beats GG. But, he fought foolishly last time and may very well do it again. GG fought a smarter, more consistent fight last time and I expect the same thing this time around.

If you can consistently land a good jab in a fight then it's a massive advantage. Golovkin has a great jab, it's deceptively sharp and accurate and is a heavy, damaging shot in its own right even if it's not a KO punch like everything else in his arsenal. It was the punch that most of GGG's success in the first fight came off of, allowing him to control the ringspace and dictate where the exchanges took place - ie; on the ropes where he was most comfortable. By contrast, whenever Canelo was allowed to hold the centre of the ring and land his own shots first he won the rounds. I'd say GGG's jab and how Canelo handles it will be the most important factor when it comes to the rematch. I wouldn't go so far as to say that GGG's jab will singlehandedly win the fight for him but I don't think he'll be able to win without it.

He can. He basically one the first fight with it. I think, this one will be a better and more on the edge of your seat kinda fight though. Would love multiple knockdowns of both fighter and all that dreamy **** haha. But GGG probably wins, decision he shoulda got last time. If Canelo really was juicing then GGG will walk through those shots even more and prolly go to body more and possibly get a ko. I dont see canelo winning. Just because the first fight just wasnt that close and i believe that was the best canelo can do against him.
