A friend told me GGG wants to have the National Anthems played BEFORE the PPV so they can just get in the ring and fight, But Canelo wants it the traditional way, so he can sit or take a knee when the Mexican National Anthem is played to protest Police Corruption in Mexico, Basically my friend says Canelo wants to use the platform of this big fight to do what Kaepernick did in the NFL to protest Police Corruption etc in the USA

Does anyone have the scoop on this if it's true?

There's no advantage or disadvantage to doing it the way Canelo wants to do it.
Canelo isn't gonna protest any police corruption or anything like that.
It's a tradition to sing the national anthems before the main event starts and that's all there is to it.
So tell your friend to go choke on a **** for saying ****** things like that!
