That's true. I'm not implying that corruption does not
or cannot exist in boxing. That would be a foolish opinion
that is not supported by fact.
I just don't believe people should jump to conclusions
about corruption when three different people, who each
view the same fight from three different angles, have
somewhat different opinions about what they saw.
Especially in close fights or with contrasting styles. I get
the impression that some 'fans' seem to believe that each
judge is watching the same broadcast that the television
audience sees, and that judges are inhuman robots who
are immune to having any differences in personal tastes.
Despite the controversial verdict, we were probably all on
the edges of our seats during the fight. It was an exciting
fight, if not a 'great fight', and we'll have the opportunity
to see them do it again very soon. Hopefully there will be
less to discuss in the aftermath of the rematch.
Anyway going by what you consider inane and idiotic I would have to put quite a few Canelo supporters in that category.
154.1?? Don't know of any fighter that fought at 154.1 pounds. The only significance I can attach to that weight is it's the start of the Middleweight division.
YOU said, a fighter who weighs 154.1 is a GENUINE middleweight
YOU said, a fighter who weighs 154.1 is a GENUINE middleweight
don't go changing your song now
No I said I don't know if any fighter that fought at 154.1 pounds. Are you dis*****g that? If so please give me the name of the fighter.
I also said the only significance I can attach to it is it's in the Middleweight division. I don't know how much simpler I could have worded it so you could understand. Your probably referring to Canelo. Canelo fought above the weight limit for his division that makes him a middleweight. I don't care if he managed to weasel a concession from the sanctioning bodies. He fought above his division limit frequently.

I asked you MANY times to name a middleweight who weighs 155..... you declined..... insisting that any fighter who weighed between 154.1 - 160, was a genuine middleweight
which is horribly naive, and utterly clueless
posters pointed out that Lara, Angulo, and others, have fought above 154 more often than Canelo..... but there were no idiots running around insisting that they were genuine middleweights
you calculator-wielding, paint-by-numbers, boxing fans got exposed
there are no technicalities in boxing..... whenever you start a sentence with the word "technically", you are talking shht..... the "but....." part that follows, is the only relevant point

I've named a fighter several times and you keep pretending you didn't see it. It's you buddy.

Your confused. I've never used the word technical or genuine when describing Canelo as a Middleweight. These are words you use all the time and then claim others said it. When Canelo fought above his weight division as a JM he fought as a Middleweight period. In 309 pages you can't grasp that simple concept.
