I think he needs a big KO to maintain his claim to being the main man in the division. Otherwise the winner of Wilder Fury will steal a march.
Yep, he has been more "Careful" than before, i think that fight (Wlad) came too early for him. Yes he won the fight but it wasn't that easy for him. Wlad might be 39 but he has more experience in his little finger going into that fight than Joshua had in his whole pro career.

Since that fight his trainer has taken a more methodical approach to his fight game, this is meant to make him last a bit longer without too much punishment.

If joey Parker gets a % then wilder derserves a %... simple as that lol

You can only wonder, that's the best you can do. You don't have a clue of a promoter.
AJ started his career in a best possible way and we can all see his remarkable achievements. One more step he will be undisputed and be on the same echelon with LL, Frazier, Ali and the other great guys in the sport within short period.
        Isn't it amazing?

JP has ppv records, wilder has sold zero ppv.

A "rumble" is the only way Povetkin can win imo. However, unless Joshua's common sense abandons him he's probably not going to get it.

Who's to say Joshua doesn't get nervous again like he did in the Parker fight? He admitted that the pressure of expectation got to him and Povetkin should really try to ruffle his feathers by going at him. Can't see him winning any other way.

Only among people who can't tell the difference between FACTS and TROLLING on social media.

                facts are things like:

                - Wilder and Finkel didn't meet Hearn in New York to make the fight.

                - Wilder wouldn't even go to Joshua V Parker (the first sign that he would avoid AJ).

                - Wilder / Finkel / Any single one of Wilder's promoters did not respond to a WRITTEN offer sent to them, as they knew time was running out for Joshua not to get stripped by the WBA. The didn't even respond lmao.

                - Wilder / Finkel wanted Joshua to agree a fight based on some screeching over social media, with nothing written, no terms no dates no venue etc. Lol.

                Trolling is:

                - Avoiding Joshua and then pricing yourself out of it.

                - Using Joshua's name o build your profile, constantly spouting bs on social media.

Use some discernment, if you're able.

You just make sure Joshua gets past Povetkin before you start worrying about Wilder.

Povetkin is at least as good of an opponent as Luis Ortiz imo.

Both old, both looked quality before multiple PED busts, both showed signs of age post PED busts.

Povetkin was more proven than Ortiz though and was a feature of HW boxing for the last 10 years. Ortiz was more avoided though so swings and roundabouts.

If you give credit to Wilder for Ortiz, which I do, then you should for Joshua if he beats Pov. If you don’t give Wilder credit, then you shouldn’t be giving Joshua any.

I think both Ortiz and Povetkin are dangerous, experienced, though over the hill opponents. Neither Wilder or Joshua are good enough to make fights against these guys a formality. This could be a dangerous fight.

Also, the Price almost Ko’d Povetkin schtick is one of the biggest myths going around at the moment. He got clipped and stumbled to the ropes off balance. He also beat Price up and sent him to hell later in the fight.
