Gutsy move by Fury and bit of a gamble but the reward is worth it if he can get the win. But he can't do what he tried vs Parker and try to steal rounds it has to be a definitive victory if he's the get the decision, he'll get no favours in Bulgaria.

Battle of the jabs, if Fury can jab him and not get hit by Pulev's jab then he might win, but he has to throw more offensive shots. Pulev beat big heavy's Ustinov and Demitrenko by jabbing then to defeat and kept Chisora off him with his jab. Thus Fury is big enough and mobile enough to do that but he will need more than a jab as he is fighting away from Home.....the Fury's will train accordingly and i believe they have been working on more power shots from Fury..

Fury is a very good boxer but his lack of power is a huge hindrance. It's the little bit which will deny him a chance to be a champion. Maybe if he learns when to move and sit on his shots a little bit maybe he could actually win a championship belt.

Fury has thin skin, he gets Ws, tkos in the UK, but he can't go around bleeding like that all over the place. Pulev on cuts and the hometown edge.

What are you talking about, he is going to Bulgaria to fight the guy that Dillian should have fought but decided not to.

Good post. I think this is a tough fight for both, but Hughie is probably getting Pulev at the right time now. The jab is the key here and also Hughie's movement will be essential.

He cannot afford to be seen as too defensive though. He needs to hold his feet more and throw the right hand more. It looked like he learned from the Parker fight in his last outing and was more aggressive, but that was against Sexton. Let's see what he can do against Pulev. A good win adds another young player you the division here.

Credit to him for going to Bulgaria where Dillian and Miller wouldn't.

Him, Chisora and Whyte are the gatekeepers though. Nice fight for Hughie.
