Stacy Goodson is working on finalizing a deal that would put 2 undefeated HW's Joe Mesi vs JD Chapman as the main event on his HW slug out card in Arkansas. Goodson is saying that both fighters have agreed to the fight and all that remains is the $$$. This fight will be either a 10 or a 12 round fight.

Chapman's record is B-O-G-U-S.
Look at his first ten or so fights. Most of the guys had no fights....& the ones that did, never won any of them !Comment

Jeff Mayweather has been training for the past 4-5 months. He has been training with Briggs, McCline and others. Chapman is a live body and this would prove a huge step up for Mesi. Mesi is so slow right now. His hand speed is what made him a top ten guy. I hope that he can get that back, Tyson wass never the same after the 2 year layoff, Neither was Ali, after that long a layoff something happens.
Mesi will beat Chapman. Its a good fight for him to take at this point, beat an undefeated guy.
It will take a lot though for anyone to place him back in the top 10. The alphabets might but I am talking about legit rankings.Comment
