  • Comments Thread For: Ryan Garcia: If Left Up To Me, I'd Fight Gervonta Davis Tomorrow

Super featherweight contender Ryan Garcia had all he could handle on Saturday night, when he won a tougher than expected ten round majority decision over Carlos Morales at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio. Garcia (16-0, 13 KOs) appeared to get stunned in the later rounds, and he admitted to going through some fatigue, but still managed to secure enough points in the bank to grab the win.

Oscar wouldn't dare let you get in the ring with Tank after that dud performance. Just work on getting better no use in damaging your career before it gets started good.

I think Tank goes to 135 after Mares (if that fight is real), unless Floyd and Hearn can make Davis vs. Farmer on Showtime! Better chance we'll get Tank vs. Devin Haney, before Tank vs. Ryan Garcia!

Sounds like Garcia is embarrassed from his gift last night and knows Tank Davis will whoop that ass. So now he's hiding behind what his promoter would want.

His KO% is obviously manufactured, something fishy there. No disrespect, I just like to size up my choices, hedge my bets. Do I believe his statistics, or do I believe my eyes? Another win like that and he'll be laboring in obscurity. They talk talent, speed, and power, but I didn't see any of that here.

Garcia will never be elite. Kid isn't that talented besides his handspeed. Clinches so much that I thought I was watching Wladimir fight.

Can't believe he was Fight Prospect of the Year. He was nowhere near that level.
