Very very young fighter, a lot to work on, really like him. No need to rush him, he would probably go through the Wilder/Brook route. But hope they step him up sooner than that.

The problem is the hype is coming from the tons of women and men who throw their panties at him seduced by his looks. Unlike Ryan, Oscar was an olympic gold medalist with a huge AM career and fundamentals to go with his looks. Ryan was exposed as having too many flaws....he was staring at the clock the whole time which means he absolutely did not want to be there, has questionable stamina, and clearly no where near the skill base to be a star. Look at all the infants on facebook who kept asking during the undercard when he was going to be fighting which shows they were not seasoned boxing fans because any seasoned boxing fan knows there is no set start time to a main event since distance fights and KO's impact the main event fight time. Bunch of men and women in heat for him. Teixtera was the fighter of the night with superb skills on display. Even Macias was fun to watch. Both Macias and Teixtera were comfortable in their skin and looked like they wanted to be there as opposed to Garcia. Garcia should have been on the undercard instead.
