Exactly! Breadman is literally the best at having deep insight, knowledge, and knowings of the intricate nuances of fighters, but he is clearly biased, or scared of the PAC NATION OF RABID FANS! He even hates Canelo being asked soft ball questions, but doesn’t hate the Softball questions Pac has gotten for fkn years! I wrote him and called him on this in the past!
thats right !
and bread even stated that showing bias hurts your credibility
I have called bread out on him turning a blind eye to Pac on numerous occasions

Come on man. Why on earth would you give this guy who wants to discuss the merits of name calling and insults a platform and even address that nonsense seriously? That makes the author look as ridiculous and childish as the dude who he was addressing.
And how can you call Margarito a bruising puncher knowing that he got caught with loaded gloves? It makes absolutely no sense. Especially when in the same article you question whether Canelo will be able to perform the same after testing positive for p.e.d's as a clean athlete. At least with Canelo there is a chance that he unintentionally ingested trace amounts of the drug and didn't intentionally cheat. With Margarito there is no chance that he didn't cheat intentionally. But you still call him a bruising puncher? Why?
And Cotto lost to Manny Pacquiao in the fight before it was revealed that he (Pacquiao) was unwilling to test. The guy who you were responding to never said anything about Cotto asking Pacquiao to take the test. The situation with Margaritio and Pacquiao as it relates to Cotto are quite similar other than the fact that it was never proven that Pacquiao ever did anything wrong. But if you don't think that his behavior was not at least su****ious you would have to be "openly biased". And I noticed how you characterized his refusal to test as a refusal to be tested by USADA. The only reason you would say it that way is because you are trying to sneak in an excuse for Pacquiao's su****ious behavior. But all anyone needs to know is that VADA did not even exist at the time. You are a great analyst but you are just as biased as one of these trolls that comments on these forums.
I ride with bread, but, he favors the guys he likes
he is a HUGE boxing fan, so no big deal really
bread was right the media has favored Canelo, he kinda got a free pass, but they did the same thing to PacComment

Sergio Martinez had a messed up leg and was coming off surgery for it when he fought Cotto.
I don't give Miguel too much credit for that win. That wasn't the same Sergio that worked Pavlik and Paul Williams.Comment

He fkn did it again! Bread just proved my point that if we read, between the lines he respects,Floyd’s skills but he doesn’t like him! He just let dude crap all on Floyd and barely had any defense like he did when I call PAC Qwackman! I don’t like it but to each his own. That ain’t how Bread Clapped back at me SMDH! Then he even let this clown rewrite history...AGAIN...AN BREAD SAID NOTHING! He says Floyd ducked Qwack, then only fought him after Marquez KOed him. This completely rewrites what happened and the fact that Team Qwackman walked away from the negotiations over PEDS testing! A fact that even Freddy the Roach admits! Side note notice how Boxingscene administrators block out when you call Roach ****roach that’s some BS! We all grown ups here who love a sport were a person can literally be beat to death. But somehow we are sensitive over a little name calling! Bread the PEDS crusader keeps letting Qwack fans rewrite history instead of correcting them with what actually happened instead of speculation. Last Bread you mad at the softball questions people ask Canelo...BUT NEVER HAD A PROBLEM EVEN WHEN I MENTIONED IT ABOUT THE SUPER SOFTBALL QUESTIONS QWACK GETS AND WAS ALWAYS ASKED!
I’m starting to see a pattern that shows me why Bread respects and is cool with Dougie Fleicer weak butt! They both are very knowledgeable about Boxing. Breads insight is actually unmatched, his knowledge of the intricate nuances of fighters is just next level sick! But with that said he’s Biased against Money somewhat and like all these writers SCARED OF THE QWACKMAN NATION!
If you got issues with the writers
Why you keep reading Breadman and Doug's columns?Comment

He shouldnt get any credit for that win. Its appalling How Cotto, not even a complete middleweight, got to carry the same title Hagler carried- the lineal middleweight championship. Its ridiculous.Comment

Pretty good mailbag. Not sure I wanted to read that War and Peace epic by whoever about Mike McCallum, it should have been edited, way too long, but 'the body snatcher IS one of the most underrated fighters of his era.
He beat my hero Julian Jackson, and I would love to have seen Mike in with a prime James Toney or Roy Jones. (his last two losses came to them in the '97 and '96 when he was nearly 40, and back then 30 was considered old)
One of the things about McCallum was he had a solid chin, incredible will and stamina and, as mention great boxing skills.
The two things Cotto and GGG have in common is Abel Sanchez. I say two, because Sanchez works well only with fighters who do well making a focusing on their opponents to the detriment of their natural talents.
When Sanchez trained Cotto, his famed left hook almost disappeared and he became a different, more defensive counterpuncher.
He returned to the old Cotto (that's why the writer said a different Cotto emerged in '09 or whenever, because he left Sanchez and his overly scientific - emphasis on analysing and adjusting for an opponent's style of training. The natural left hook returned as did the Cotto of old.)
GGG has the same problem, everybody who's anybody knows that Golovkin's blueprint for beating Canelo is simple and right in front of his face, but Sanchez will have Gennady's blood analysed, study endless videos of the first fight and look for flaws in Alvarez's game - when the key lies with what the writer said - He just needs to get vicious and bully Canelo into the corner, the ropes, take a step back and unload body shots galore, or like Iron Mike hit him all over - the battle of the chins is tight, but I think Gennady's will hold upjust that bit better than Canelos.
How frustrating is it going to be when we watch the fight and see the tentative GGG plodding forward, tapping on the door, throwing 1 or two punches at a time, while Canelo basically gives him a boxing lesson?Comment

The neutrals probably won't notice and the majority of people hate Floyd so they won't notice too or they will just ignore it or outright support the bias.
Bread is without a shadow of doubt biased against Floyd. However you can't expect him to admit it to you, he never will because he will lose credibility if he does.
Hell, he might be in complete denial about it and won't even admit it to himself for all we know.
He doesn't like Floyd at all. He will always correct someone when they get their facts wrong about a fighter that he likes or is neutral about but when it comes to Floyd he either is the source of the misconception/lie or he outright ignores it and let's it pass. He is done this too often for it not to be a bias, especially where Pac is concerned.
It's not only against Floyd either, he has a personal bias FOR Pac and GGG too.
In this particular mailberg he heavily criticized Martinez for ducking GGG in favor of fighting smaller fighters or more popular guys.
However, the same GGG has been doing exactly that for years now. Ducking Ward and Lara while calling out Floyd and fighting Brook.
Avoiding Ward and Lara because high risk low reward and taking easier fights.
His trainer started trash talking the Charlo fight as soon as Charlo became GGG's mandatory and GGG has never responded to his mandatory call outs from Charlo.
Just recently GGG fought a guy who hadn't fought in two years, hadn't fought at middleweight, and wasn't even ranked at middleweight. He rather get stripped than fight Derevychenko and rather fight an unranked guy than any of his manatories, and this is the guy who said he wants all the belts as his main goal.
Can you believe that Bread actually had the audacity to come here and rabidly defend that bull shieet Martiroysan event with a "righteous indignity"
Had Floyd pulled what GGG pulled what do you think he would have said?
I suppose Bread is only human, yes he tries to mask his bias but his audience aren't ten year olds (at least not all of them) so we see through the bulshieet.
But like I said, he's only human, but at the end of the day, bull shieet is bull shieet.Comment

They've already sold 75,000 tickets. It's just simply not possible for Deontay Wilder to do anything comparable to that when Americans are mostly casual fans and are terrible about supporting our own. That's partially why Wilder hasn't gained the popularity that he deserves. It's bullshît really. HBO is not helping at all with its love jones for foreign fighters. And now it seems like they're pulling the plug on boxing. And they refuse to work with Al Haymon. So we have an American Heavy Weight Champion who has to behave like a pro wrestler to get attention...Comment
