IDK if it's about starting earlier or not, but I know for sure it will have to involve a concerted effort to the body - it was severely lacking in the first fight.

As for GGG, started slow vs Canelo to save energy, still finished slow. Started slow vs Jacobs, still ran out of energy and finished slow. Contrast that to prime GGG that was throwing 100 punches per round deep into the fight vs Stevens, and close to that level vs Martin Murray and Ouma deep into the fight. He used to have amazing stamina, now, it's better than Canelo's, but not good what it used to be. And his punches aren't either. The speed is gone, and speed is velocity, which affects the power as well.

PEDs will give you durability, intensity, stamina and to some extent, strength. But they can't give you a skills set. You either have this or you dont. Canelo proved in first fight he was far too skillful for ggg and will do so again.

I watched the 1st fight again today. And here is how I scored each round. I don’t know what fight Harold Letterman was watching for HBO. Or what fight Byrd was watching. I came up with a draw. And if you threatened my life and told me to pick one, I could have went Canelo by giving him the 11th or GGG by giving him the 1st round.
I also noticed Canelo took GGG’s punches well and GGG took Canelo’s shots well. But they were both cautious enough to respect each others power. The obvious was Canelo needs to be more effective with his jab more to set up his offense and stay off the ropes. GGG needs to throw more to the body when Canelo finds himself on the ropes because he was still getting countered head hunting so take more risks to the body. And Canelo is much more effective in the middle of the ring versus backing up.

Everybody rightly knows what GGG needs to do to win this fight except GGG and Sanchez, the idiot. He needs to throw his tentativeness and possibly Sanchez's advice encouraging him to box Alvarez, and play on his natural strengths!
Press, be vicious, work the body in the first half, and he will crumble in the second half. Forget about what Saul might do or not do. Golovkin you have the tools to beat him, but you're simply not using them!
Every goddamned idiot knows what GGG needs to do. But he's not listening.
That's why most experts and fans are picking Canelo (taking nothing away from him) to win.
