I think they've done a good job at marketing a supposed bad blood. Personally, I'm not buying it and I think the drama aspect to this one is weak. But, doesn't change the fact that a lot of people are into it.

I don't even have a favorite in this one but I'm looking forward to it as a really great, evenly matched fight.

Doesn’t Vargas hold the record for being national amateur champion at age 15 or 16? A record which won’t be broken because they have changed the rules to 18+ or something? Anyways, to say Vargas couldn’t box is just dumb. Watch some of his fights, like against Ike Quartey for example. He was super young at that time as well

Not even close. Vargas-DLH was much, much better and both participants had a personality. Not the case here.

“You look at his physique on the scales for the last Golovkin fight, everyone is already su****ious, and ever more so now. Having spoke to doctors, when we put a VADA random testing in process, previously we’ve done it with 8 weeks to go. The doctors have told me this is the biggest waste of time game. You need it 16 weeks out because a drug cheat will stop their cycle probably by 8 weeks...which is about the time that this has happened, which again don’t look great.“ -Eddie Hearn

So no, It was 8 weeks out, 2 months. Not 7 months. Educate yourself. I like both fighters. But I like facts even more so. Stop wasting everyone on this site’s time with harebrained, non- due diligence results. See ya later, buddy!
