Barry is the smartest one in this situation and he knows how to build an event. Wilder not that known and hasn’t fought anyone. Risk is either of these guys might get KOd, but Manny lost to JMM and still had the monster fight with Floyd (PPV wise)

The reason stuff like this happens is because boxing fans or should I say fan boys of specific fighters are idiots and the promotors know this. It's a timeless art. Avoid a fight but pretend you want it to happen. Fight lesser opposition for 2 yrs or so while your ****** fan base defends your ducking and pays to watch these inferior fights. Then eventually make the fight when you feel the dangerous opponent has slowed down or displays more vulnerability. I used to be surprised that this would work but since joining this website and seeing how many ****** fans there are out there, I see why it works for promotors to do this every single time.

Daddy Hearn just made everything so crystal clear, that you would have to be a muppet, not to accept what he's stating.
They want no parts of Wilder anytime soon .....
Also, this is the point where AJ should make up his mind and either man-up or b1tch-out. Tell his promoters to make the fight or else. AJ needs to stop being a proper puppet and his defenders need to stop being so ******.

Wilder is four years older than AJ. And even though I think his lack of skill and technique is exaggerated. He does have holes in his game that can be exploited. And he’s sloppy enough at times to get caught with something cheap that could end his night against a lesser fighter. And that’s what Team AJ is banking on. Wilder to either show obvious signs of aging. Or, get knocked off. If AJ and Wilder fought tomorrow, AJ would be favored and I think he would beat Deontay. But even though AJ is clearly more skilled than Wilder. He’s not Floyd Mayweather. He gets hit. And to be more specific, he gets hit with straight right hands. And Wilder is long, fast, and knows how to get that right hand home. And when he does, he short circuits guys. And that’s the reason Team AJ isn’t interested in the fight right now. They have a loyal fan base that will support him regardless. But, the one thing about today’s fight fans is that they’re not loyal. Mayweather-Pacquiao taught us that. Manny went from transcendent crossover superstar to a guy that couldn’t draw flies to s.hit because he lost the big fight. Team AJ ain’t willing to risk the gravy train right now. More power to them.
