    Stitch Duran explains handwrap "Stacking"

Warning video quality sucks in the beginning. The way duran "stacked" didnt look like canelos. Canelos was like 2 1/2 inches high off his knuckles.

Yuup! Canelo had an injury on his right hand that required more protection! Listen you can cry all you want but the fact is even with an injured hand; extra padding and winnings gloves Canelo went out there and had enough power to keep Golovkin scared behind the jab! How come you don’t focus on that instead on your conspiracy theories! Always trying to make ggg a victim

Each state commissions office dictates how much (length & width) gauze and tape can be used. There are also specific brands to use
these rules change from state to state. That's why the specifics are often in question.
There is a state inspector and opponents corner second present when hands are wrapped and fighters are gloved. Wraps are initialed by the state commissioners office to assure the rules were not abused.

"Yuup! Canelo had an injury on his right hand that required more protection"!
          ............sorry that's not allowed!

I think Abe knows Canelo has had a knuckle injury and probably wants him being forced to use the less protective wrap.

I'm sure triggered fanboys will rant about that but it's the way this sport works.

The knuckle pad has to be all gauze no matter how the hand is wrapped, so not sure stacking would help a knuckle injury. Someone with weak wrists or metacarpal bones might benefit tho.

The tendon (which is the part that is aggravated) goes all the way through and as someone who has the same injury which occasionally becomes inflamed, everything involved in the metacarpal area affects it. The more solid and stable a wrap you make, the less it acts up because the travel of the tendon.
