Its always hard to walk away when you aren't prepared and ready. Its A hard sport. Only non fighters take it for granted and make jokes about other fighters. I wish him the best.

In light of this sad news that forces Ryuya Yamanaka into retirement, I think I'm beginning to understand the corner stoppage of Daigo Higa vs. Cristofer Rosales ; Daigo's team may have been thinking about not only the potential permanent physical damage involved but also ensured that their fighter could continue his career in Japan.

Ryuya Yamanaka's team had more reason to stop the fight considering Vic Saludar dropped him and nearly knocked him out and was way behind on the scores imo. Yamanaka, still young could of came back and had a future in boxing -- who knows maybe he can do what Katsunari Takayama did to save his career and fight on outside Japan.
