Boxing lies that are spread over the years

1- LIE-Duran jumped straight from lightweight to fight Leonard
FACT-Duran had 8 fights at or above ww before he faced Leonard and hadnt been at lightweight in 2 years

2-LIE-Mosley jumped from lightweight to fight Oscar
FACT-Shane had 2 fights after moving from 135 before he fought Oscar

3-Lie-Forman was beating up Ali while he layed on the ropes

Fact Ali was up on every card before the stoppage

Floyd waited until pac man got old to fight him (Floyd did have his BS to say after the first failed negotiations but people should stop ignoring that team pac admitted they ruined the first negotiations over testing)

Ortiz was 52 when wilder fought him

pac man fought all comers (he ducked or didn't fight mark 2 sharp Johnson, rafeal marquez, zahir raheem, and nate Campbell)

That Mayweather fought all comers. He ducked or didn’t fight Margarito, Wright, Tszyu, Johnston, Casamayor, Freitas, Thurman, Brook, Khan.

and that BS lasted 5 years. they didn't ruin the first negotiations because it was all a bluff anyway. a more accurate way of saying it would be they didnt' call floyds bluff sooner. we found that one when floyd didn't fight when he got everything he wanted. you are pretending like the world ended in 2010 and we dont know how the story ended. we do. he didn't fight.

You're right Larry, those are statements that get repeated without being true.

Man I came in here to make point 1. People always use Mayweather vs Pacquiao as the blueprint of waiting for fights to get bigger when that was never Floyd's intention. Pacquiao's team turned down a 50/50 split, 14 day cutoff on testing and Floyd even backed off a May date in order to appease Manny so that he could run for congress.

Floyd had every intention on fighting Manny in 2010.
