Jamal James could beat Errol Spence

Spence is overhyped. Jamal James has superior boxing skills and would use his length to outbox Spence.

I only remember his fight with Ugas. He seemed too easy to hit. I don't think he would give Spence many problems.

Jamal James is a scrub. Dude is like 30 and in his only decent fight he lost to an even older late replacement. Idk why Haymon keeps putting him on tv

You are the worst fight predictor I have ever seen. You picked Vanes to KO GGG FFS. The only reason you think Spence is overhyped is because you are a terrible judge of boxing talent and don't know an outstanding boxer when you are watching him fight.James beats Spence only in your strange world and nowhere else.

James is basically helping to shepherd turning Minneapolis into a market to bring fights too (especially when you have local fighters who can be featured).

Beyond that, James isn't a scrub; the Ugas fight gave us a good gauge of his level, but he's an awkward fighter, has shown ability, and has a TV friendly style (throws a good amount of punches, slick but his open style gets him hit, good chin). With the 4 wins since the Ugas loss, James is basically 1-2 fights away from a title shot.

Depending on how he does in his shot, you have another welterweight fighter to throw into the mix (Thurman seems to have Josesito Lopez penciled in, Berto is set as the option for the Garcia-Porter winner, leaving Spence as the most likely shot; Devin Alexander, Victor Ortiz, Brandon Rios (if he wants to keep fighting), Lamont Peterson, Luis Collazo, and others all need fights, Jamal James would be viable, and those matchups can be used to fill in the FOX/FS1 schedule.

              Troll thread.

Guy wouldn't even get passed Peterson let alone Spence.
