Ortiz was 37. Now he is 38, is still the most avoided heavyweight out there. A 40 plus year old Klitschko coming off of a loss and a career long layoff is the only top level fighter on AJ's resume. He came a lot closer to losing to Klitschko than Wilder did vs. Ortiz.

I respect Tyson because he was a student of boxing outside the ring. He watched a lot of fighters past and present. A lot of people will look at his career but this man knows a thing or two about boxing. And notice what he said below. He told the truth and I have to agree with him based on how he accessed it. Now part of it is Wilder said he could destroy Tyson-LOL!!!
“He’s the stronger guy, bigger guy, more put together as far as boxing skills are concerned as well.”
Wilder 6-7, 227 lbs. Wilder 3 year amateur career, 30-5, national golden gloves and US Championship winner 2007, bronze medal Olympics 2008, 10 year professional career. Won first belt, WBC Belt, 7 years after turning pro.
Joshua 6-6, 249lbs. Joshua 6 year amateur career, 40-3, gold medalist Great Britain Championships 2010, silver medalist World Championships 2011, Gold Medalist Olympics 2012, named prospect of the year by Ring Magazine in 2014 after tuning pro in 2013, 5 year professional career. Won first belt, IBF, 2 & 1/2 years after turning pro. Held IBF, IBO, WBO, WBA “Super” HW belts 4 & 1/2 years after turning pro.
