We've all seen this before. Fighters moving up two weight classes getting koed and never being the same. Brooke with GGG is an example. I get the whole reason why he's fighting spence. Better to lose to spence than lomo when everyone can say you had no chance anyways. But I don't think he'll be the same fighter after that fight. It will take a lot out of him. Huge mistake by his team. Lomo will tear him apart after.
Will Mikey be the same fighters after losing to Spence?

lomachenko schools him regardless but yeah he gets crushed by spence he definitely won't be the same afterwards! -
We don't know, but I wont blame him for chasing greatness. He knows and understands the risks of fighting Spence. Good for him, go for it.
In Brook's example, the blame lies with him, not in fighting Golovkin, but in not taking care of himself afterwards. He took a relatively short break, squeezed into a lower weight division he was already struggling with before gaining 13 lbs, and took on a top, hard punching fighter. He took years off his career because of that move.Comment

I favor Spence but I think Garcia is going to exceed expectations when they do finally clash. I can see Spence eventually wearing him down with body work but Mikey is so fundamentally sound that he will make it close and exciting the entire way through. He will win rounds for sure.Comment

Maybe. Brook had some success early against GGG and Khan won a few rounds against Canelo but eventually they got brutally knocked out. That's the way I see this fight going.I favor Spence but I think Garcia is going to exceed expectations when they do finally clash. Yup, that is a definite possibility although I think Mikey is technically superior to both Khan and Brook and also has a better chin. I just don't see him being able to fend off Spence's body work.Comment

HE could “chase greatness” by fighting loma and being the best at 135 and possibly pfp #1 if he wins. It’s a waste of timeWe don't know, but I wont blame him for chasing greatness. He knows and understands the risks of fighting Spence. Good for him, go for it.

Funny that Spence will kill two careers.
And all he has to do is stay at 147. Easy ride for this dude...
